Dear Ms. Kemp:
Opening paragraph: Create
ATTENTION

A. Summary opening
B. Name opening
C. Request opening
D. Question opening
Middle paragraph (s): Create
INTEREST and
DESIRE
Devote to one of these:
A. Education
B. Work Experience
C. Ability to work with others
D. Interest in your field
E. Interest in the company
F. Responsibilities on previous assignments
Closing paragraph: Call
for ACTION
The last paragraph usually asks for action. You ask for an interview
and say you will come to the employer's office when it is convenient.
Make action easy by giving your telephone number and hours to call if
someone can't answer the telephone throughout the day or evening. You
also might say you will call for an interview.
Sincerely,
Georgia A. Batting
